For the past month our family has been knee deep in science projects, in preparation for the Science Fair that was last night. I don't remember doing a lot of science projects as a kid, but my kids choose to do this every year. It is so much fun. Makala gets extra credit for completing a science project and the other two just do it for fun. We were so excited to hear that Makala gets extra credit except she is already getting 100% in Science; maybe the teacher can throw the extra credit onto her spelling grade. :)

How fun! It is amazing you science projects are usually family science projects!
What a great thing that your kids are learning to like science! I remember doing volcanos and a rock collection for science projects. There were times I wanted to send a note to the school that said, "Did I ever tell you that I have already passed fifth grade?" Sometimes it seemed like the school wanted us to do our kids work for them.
What a great mom! doing science projects "with" for all your kids!!
