Taiwan trip

My last trip was to Taiwan. This is the first time I have visited Taiwan and loved it. Taiwan is right up there next to Korea of my favorite places to visit. The great people, buildings, food, shopping...it has it all.

After dinner one night our Taiwan employee took us to see our “big church”. The temple in Taiwan was really cool to see in the center of town. It is about 2 blocks from the big Buddhist temple grounds. We were able to visit both and it was such a great opportunity to see so much of the culture.

One of the office buildings is on the 30th floor in a building that looks out at the World’s tallest building, just until the building in Burj Dubai is finished then it won't be the tallest anymore. What an incredible city to visit. This isn't the best picture because of the rain and it was at night. This is the Taipei 101.

The food in Taiwan was very good, except for the cagulated blood soup. During one dinner they were trying to see which one of us could pick up the most peanuts with the chopsticks.
Look at me with two peanuts, man, I am good. I think they like to see us trying so hard.

You are talented! I'm glad you enjoyed your trip. I love seeing temples and how they fit into the city. So did you win the peanut picking contest?

You are such a trooper. The travelling would wipe me out.

I had forgotten there was a temple in Taiwan.

I was so good, I was the first one to pick up 3 peanuts. Then I stacked two more on top of the other three and picked them up. I counted it as 5, but they said I cheated. bummer. To tell you the truth I spent so much time looking at the peanuts because I didn’t want to make eye contact after the coagulated pig’s blood. I am a little pickier now because I got food poison from a scallop. I was sick for a month. It is too bad because I enjoyed trying new things
