Tummy Troubles

Adara has been going through a series of tests, including various scans, injections, biopsies and scopes to see what is causing her tummy so many troubles. Ever since she was dubbed "Typhoid Adara" as a 2-year-old who got the intestinal flu every two months, she's been having digestive problems.

The doctors (and we) are a little concerned because it's gotten worse lately. Her weight has dropped to 100 lbs and she can't seem to eat anything without feeling terrible.

Her specialist believes it might be gallbladder issues, even though earlier scans came out negative. We are awaiting results on her most recent tests. Hopefully they can find something fixable to fix!

It is always the worst when you don't know what is causing the problem. We will remember Adara in our prayers.

I hope they can find out what is wrong. It is scary when you don't know the cause.

I hope they find out what the trouble is soon. I hate that you have to go through this Adara.

P.S. this isn't related to the stomach problems her papa had as a kid is it?

The Dr. has diagnosed her as having a "paralyzed stomach" and possibly a gall bladder problem. She is taking some medication that might cause her face to twitch, in which case, they will have to bring in the better medication from Canada since no US companies have put forth the money to have it tested. So far she is feeling better on this medicine and no twitches *yay*.
