We have chosen the name Sandy for our puppy. The kids love her and she is so funny. She can't stand having one toy in the house. It is a stuffed animal and every time she sees it in the house she picks it up and carries outside. She is sleeping through the night...Yipppee for me! She has learned how to sit and we are working on lay down.

Well she sounds like a smart dog. Is the name,in any way, inspired by Annie. Because that is the first thing I thought of. It just makes me feel like singing "Sandy, why are you following me...." Puppies are so much fun!
I picked Sandy because I thought she is the same color as sand on a beach and that is where I wish I was right now. Snow....too cold. :) However, when I suggested Sandy my husband thought of Grease, my oldest thought of Annie and my boy thought of a squirrel on SpongeBob.
I thought of Annie, too. And I love it! She sounds like she likes to be outside. You are SO lucky.
